Tutorial: How To Pick Stocks to Buy Using the SAM Table

My Stock Market Investing Story – Investing Is For Everybody!

At marami pang ibang factors.

So purely for educational purposes only.

Part 1: Access Truly Rich Club Members Portal

Step 1. Go to trulyrichclub.com and click MEMBER’S LOGIN found at the upper right corner of the page

Jul 1 - members login

Step 2. Login to Member’s Portal

Jul 1 - members portal login

Step 3. Enter TrulyRichClub.com: Gold – Philippines

Jul 1 - Enter

Step 4. Click ‘SAM’ tab beside ‘TRC’

Jul 1 - SAM July 1

Part 2: How to Read the SAM Table

You read the SAM Table from Right to Left.

Jul 1 - SAM Upclose

First, choose which  Jul 1 - action.    If you are buying, choose only those with “Continue Buying“.

jul 1 - act

Next, check the Jul 1 - expected grwth.

Tip: pansin ko lang na the larger the Expected Growth, the longer you will wait for the Target Price to be reached. But sometimes, there can be exceptions depending on market conditions. The length of time can be months, or even years. We can’t really predict.

jul 1 - expctd grwth

Next, check the Jul 1 - buybelowprce.

Sa simula, you can buy just one (1) company. That’s okay. Ideally, dapat you buy shares of companies every month.

Now back to the table. You will now compare the Jul 1 - currentp and the Jul 1 - buybelowprce.

If the Current Price is lower than the Buy Below Price, you may buy the stock.

If the Current Price is higher than the Buy Below Price, you may still buy it but you will have a lower potential gain when you sell at the Target Price later.

Based on observation, the Expected Growth in the table will always be at least 15% net of fees. So if you buy a stock that is greater than the Buy Below Price then your gain will be less than 15% after fees.

Kapag sinabing fundamentals ito yung characteristics ng isang company pertaining to its business, its earning capacity, or many other factors.

Magsasabi si Bro Bo sa email about it.

Example, for EEI

Jul 1 - HOLD

Ine-explain naman siya ng simple lang. Magagamay mo rin ito habang tumatagal at nag-i-invest ka month in, month out.

Part 3: How to Buy Stocks in COL Financial

Suppose you hold 5 stocks in your portfolio. Then if 100% is the totality of your portfolio then to be diversified means 100 divided by 5 equals 20, that is, any one of your stock should not exceed 20% weight in your portfolio.

Kung more than 5 po ang hawak nila, then 20% weight on a stock is the maximum as per SAM Table.

If less than 5 stocks, then just divide 100 by the number of stocks you hold. So you would know kung meron bang stock na masyadong mataas ang weight.

Might as well ask Support: supportgold@boclubs.com

    • Yes. The Truly Rich Club is more than just investing. I just did not highlight it so as not to deviate from the topic I presented, which was understanding and utilizing the SAM Table.

TRC has many facets… if only people knew.

Thank you for your feedback Ms Jen 🙂

Salamat.

    • Dun po sa inyong goal na pagbili ng house & lot, in how many years niyo po gusto itong ma-achieve?

Kung 5 years or more, invest in stocks: directly man or indirectly.

Your money needs to be in the market for a long time to enjoy the benefits of compounding interest.

Kapag direct investing (sa COL), you get to choose the stocks that you buy. Kita mo rin ang pagpasok ng dividends. Bottomline, you have control.

Kapag mutual funds, you leverage on the expertise of the fund manager and their 40+ analysts backing him up.

Wala talagang mas maganda, depende yan sa time that you will put in to monitor your investment. Pero kahit na nag-direct ako, once or twice a month lang talaga ako naglo-login sa COL at nabili–tuwing sweldo 🙂 Either way, petiks pa rin.

I think kung alin ang mas maganda is subjective–depende siya sa appreciation mo through how much you learned understanding how they work at kung paano niya na-achieve ang iyong target amount.

Ito po yung template ko for traking. Pwede niyo ng gamitin. https://petikspinayinvestor.com/2015/08/18/excel-tracking-template/

  4. Hi Pipay 🙂

Can you please enlighten me regarding sa percentage ng portfolio.

I’m doing SAM in just one company and I’m buying shares worth 5K/monthly. For sure my portfolio is 100% because I only have one company in my table. What does it mean? Does it have any drawbacks?

    Like

    • Hello watahataw,

Yun pong MAX % sa SAM ay beneficial only when you are holding 5 companies or more.

If you are holding only one, two, until four companies, hindi po applicable ang MAX %

Basta po you buy shares lower than the Buy Below Price and then sell at the Target Price or when malapit na dito ang price ng share.

      I hope this helps 🙂
